Through The Eyes Of Grace

If you’ve read my book and find yourself wanting to know more, this is the place for you. I will offer more details about the characters in the story, who was real and who was fiction, etc. I may even include some favorite family recipes from Oklahoma. It’s still yet to be discovered how this page will develop, but once my book is published I’ll have a clearer idea of what my readers would like to know. By all means, send me your thoughts as well, after all, this website is for your enjoyment.

  1. I absolutely loved your book! Being Creek Indian, from Tulsa and very familiar with Jenks made the book memorable; however, it was the story itself that enthralled me and capitivated my imagination. I felt like I was going through Grace’s trials. My niece received the book at a meeting of the Jenks reunion committee. She was here from Minnesota for the holidays and stayed with me. She was kind enough to leave the book for me to read when she went home and I think I finished it before she got back home. PLEASE write a sequal! I probably read 200 books a year and this is at the top of my favorites. Thank you!!

    • Dear Lynn,
Thank you for your kind words. I can’t tell you how timely this is for me!

I’m curious about the Jenks Reunion Committee. I’m planning a trip to Jenks soon, in order to market my book. Your comment has inspired me to make plans soon. Would you be willing to take this comment and make it a review on Amazon? It’s reviews that help others decide if my book is worth reading. If you would I would be so grateful!

I look forward to hearing from you about the committee. God bless!

      • Debi, I really don’t know anything about the reunion committee other than my niece went Monday night. I will contact her and ask how you get in touch with them. I did not purchase the book on Amazon and do not know if I can write a review if I didn’t buy thru their site; however I will go out there and try. If there is anything I can do for you to assist in promoting this wonderful book while you are here, please let me know. I am retired and have virtually nothing to do. God Bless you and your family:-)By the way, my father’s name was Marion and that is also my first name but spelled with AN instead of ON.

        • Lynn,
You don’t have to purchase a book from Amazon to write a review. They may require you to set up a free account though. I’d appreciate your review because honestly, you are the first person I’ve heard from that isn’t a distant relative or close friend. My book has only been out since 9/25/12, so I’m greatly encouraged.

I’ll let you know when my travels will be.

          Thanks again,
          Debi

  2. Debi, your cousin Angela Taylor was at the dinner my niece went to. She really doesn’t know anything about the reunion and suggests you contact Angela. I was able to post my review on Amazon so it should be there shortly. Best of luck in your future endeavors. God Bless!
    Lynn
